With the weather continuing to get colder, this Sat. may be the last time I come up and race. I'm still trying to get Derek to get the sand out of his crotch and come up as well. I have a friend from Arkansas coming up and she's trying to get some camaros/trans ams from the Conway, AR area to come up, but it would help to have some enticement. I've also been trying to get the Dexter crowd back up and more cars from the Bluff area.

Sooooo...who's gonna be out that night and wants to play?

I'm telling you it's gonna be in the 30's by the time they head over there from bww. I would have to climb into my engine bay, cuddle up to my engine, and try to heat soak myself.

your wrong on the weather, which we all know is subject to change every 5 seconds, but the low for saturday is 39* and the high is 57*, what most people dont understand is that the low is actually in the morning right before sunrise. So to find out what the weather would be like late saturday night/early sunday morning you need to look at sundays low temp, which happens to be 45* so it would likely only be arround 50* when we all would be out and about.

These temps were taken from weather.com zip code 63701 (cape girardeau)

This is what I get for listening to Black Devil haha.

Alright, I'll bring as many as I can. I'll update as I have a list, but Dylan (new Camaro SS) said he would come back up this weekend, I don't know if my friend from Arkansas is bringing her Mach 1 and I don't know what's done to the other cars, but I can find out ;)

Ok Greg, Aka Mr. Antagonizer. You and I both know I'm not a well insulated person, but since you keep pushing me to go...

I'm calling you out as long as my car is ready to go.
1 dig - 1 roll - flip a coin for the third. Best 2 outa 3.

Best out of 3 rolls. I'll do a dig if you pull a spark plug wire haha. You have stickies, I don't.

And wear extra insulation and crank the heat up on the way up there, you have an hour and a half to build up heat. Just kick the sand out of your crotch before you leave, you don't want it turning to glass under the heat and the pressure of all those clothes.

Are we drag racing, or road racing? I know a much more curvy road if I need to swap tires. I'll give you your roll, you give me a dig.

How about, you put your street tires on, and we do a dig, 1/8th mile. I'll win that one, I am a better driver after all. And it must be hard to shift with glass forming in your crotch.

So tell me...does it itch?

How about run what you brung. It's not my fault your jello clutch has a built in launch controler. Slip slip. I'll tell you what, I'll handicap you a half car.

Ok, fine, a dig, 1/8th mile, then a roll. If I win both no need to flip a coin.

The track is closed, so looks like it's a 1/4 at cape.

Rundown here.
Greg. Me.
Stock 243's. Box stock L92's
204/211 stock cam. 207/220 baby cam.
10.9/1. 10.2/1
255/40-17. 265/40-18
street tires. Street tires

pretty fair race I think.

We can just start closer ;)

Hey, I'm agreeing to the dig. With stickies that should be your real advantage ;)

Doesn't work. I could just go buy a "stock" LS9 and you'd cry foul. So let's be realistic here.

You-aftermarket cam you claim is a 20 horse bump, newer-style heads documented to be a 20 horse bump that ARE NOT bone stock as you stated they were cleaned up, and tires that are made from a race compound.

Me-completely untouched internals, tires DESIGNED FOR street use...

Regardless, I have greater ability so I'll win this one. It may be close, but you're screwed.

I would not cry fowl. I realize how long it would take to save for an ls9 and I would be ready. Lol. My heads are straight outa the box gm performance L92's. No one has touched them yet.
My cam is teeny tiny. 118 lobe separation. Since the lobe seperation seems to be how people guage size on cams, mine is smaller than yours.

Ok. Fine. Let's set some rules.

1. Save it for Cape. That means no racing on the way up there. No need in spoiling the fun.
2. You race me first. A dig, then a roll. One of us can stop on the way back and the CROWD can decide what next, assuming it isn't already best out of 3. Others can race first, but we can only race each other first. I can't race a camaro and then race you, for example.
3. No breaks, adjustments, etc. of any kind. If you think your air pressure is too low or too high, you can stop and fix it, but it's a forfeit on the next round. Similarly, I can't pull out my laptop and add some timing. Run, go back down, run, go from there.
4. No whining afterwords, regardless of who wins or why. If you spin, I don't wanna hear about it. And I won't complain to you because I don't have the horses you do.

You accept?
