Actually 385 cubic inches, but most people still call it a 383 which is why I put that in the title. It is a early 90s 2 bolt main truck block bored .040 and torque plate honed. The crank is a cast steel one piece rear seal 3.750 stroke. Rods are LT1 rods that have been reconditioned and the pistons are forged Probe dish pistons. The rotating assembly was removed from an LT1 that I built for a customer that has less than 300 miles on it. He decided to sell the car and wanted a stock LT1 to put back in so he could build a "383" for another car. We fixed up a fresh block and installed his rotating assembly. The block has 0 miles since machine work was done and the rotating assembly has roughly 300 on it. I would not have put it together if it wasn't right. He has $1800 dollars in this short block and needs to sell it now. He is asking $1200.
